The Sparta FC Girls first games of the season today 💛🖤First up we have ⚽ Sparta FC U8 Girls vs Baschurch FC Girls ⚽Where do we start… what a game today! 💛🖤Our girls showed strong defending from the very first whistle, pushing forward with real determination. At times we left too much space for their strong forward to break through, but the effort and teamwork never stopped. 👏✨ Big shoutout to Molly – scoring her first goal of the season! And getting awarded Managers Player of the Match🔥 Ruby was an absolute powerhouse running up and down the pitch in every position supporting the team where ever they needed her– earning Support Player of the Match.🛡️ Elizabeth held the back line brilliantly with some great defending showing real strength facing Player head on.⚡ Esmae & Myla worked well together pushing forward in attack and midfield with some strong tackles.🧤 Luna stayed strong in goal, making some fantastic saves to keep us in the game.Even though the score wasnt in our favour we are proud of the whole team today – smiles, effort, and teamwork all the way. 💪⚽TeamworkMakesTheDreamWork 💪💛⚽️⚽️ Sparta FC U9 v Bridgnorth Spartans ⚽️First game back under new management Sparta u9 girls are off to a flying start. Myself and Nath couldn't be prouder 👏🏻The girls worked hard throughout the game with some amazing passes, through balls and finishes.From the whistle the girls were focused, looking for clear movement of the ball as we have worked on at training, man marking and battling hard and with Esme, Alice and Ivie finding the back of the net more than once and the whole team listening and working together the results have paid off. Started really strong winning every dual in the midfield and the Oswestry GK played well to keep us at bay. Finally scored when Lila aka Smila scored from a great corner. We deserved more but tbf their defence was resolute. Second half we conceded through an absolute worldie in the top corner. This didnt stop us though and we kept the pressure on with Ella smashing in the winner after a lovely run. Fantastic result girls very very proud coaches.POTM and Supporters POTM were joint today with Olivia and Mollie both having a brilliant day. Mollie played CDM and won everything making good passes and clearances. Olivia was everywhere today also playing as CM, RW, LW, ST and smashed it in every position.
